Kent Jones – Mornings, 5-9 am

Kent helps you start your day feeling good with Spokane’s Greatest Hits mixed with fun stories of the day and the ever-popular Key Question.  You can win concert and show tickets, gift cards, and more each morning.  It’s a great way to get moving in the morning.

Kent grew up in the midwest and east coast and his radio/television career has taken him to New Jersey, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Oklahoma, and finally Washington!  He loves the beautiful Inland Northwest and all that Spokane and Coeur d’Alene have to do.  Kent said, “Mountains fascinate me.  I love the vistas and scenery of this part of the country.  There is always more to discover here and I love getting out whenever I can.”

Kent hosts the nationally-syndicated “Totally Awesome 80s” which can also be heard Saturday nights on Key 101.  He is a video producer/director as well as a film actor and voiceover artist, appearing in several feature films and narrating e-learning courses for numerous companies.

As an FAA-certified commercial drone pilot, Kent has done aerial imagery for area quarries, promotional videos, insurance inspections, and real estate photography.

Kent and his wife, Barbara have been married 37 years and have one daughter, Melanie who calls Seattle home.  Kent said, “We vacationed on the Olympic Peninsula one year and she fell in love with the area, moving to Seattle just a few years later.  We’re glad to be closer to her now, too.”
